..flooring needs attention in the kitchen, paintwork could do with a touch up in the kitchen and the bath drains super slowly. We still enjoyed our stay but it did feel a bit more untidy than last year.

Also very close to the Eden Project which makes it easy to take advantage of the annual pass to pop there for a spare hour or two. The cottage itself was well equipped, just one addition that would be useful would be a pair of kitchen scissors. Or we may just be a bit demanding wanting them as our previous holiday let didn’t have them either! Many thanks for a lovely week!

A modernised traditional terraced family home. Everything was clean and spotless for our arrival. A fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots & pans. Beds clean and fresh, beautifully presented. A good supply of soft white towels for each of us. Plenty of space for a family of five. The shower isn't the most powerful, the bath drains away a little slowly, and the wooden flooring creaks when walked on. But these are just minor niggles to what is an otherwise superbly presented holiday home. The location is ideal for exploring Cornwall, with the traditional fishing harbour of Charlestown with an array of attractions, pubs, restaurants and beach a short walk downhill. All other coastal towns within around 90 minutes drive away. Easy access to the Eden project. A mainline railway station, supermarkets, shops, pubs, restaurants, etc all nearby, too. Would gladly recommend to anyone considering a Cornish holiday.
