Nestled in a serene countryside hamlet, just six miles from the rugged North Cornwall coast lies Skiber Spar, a beautifully renovated barn boasting spacious interiors and abundant natural light. Once a shelter for horses, this reverse-style living retreat features an impressive ground floor with two delightful bedrooms, including a double with en-suite bathroom and a twin bedroom. A family bathroom and utility room complete this floor. Ascend the stairs to the stunning open-plan living space, adorned with comfortable twin sofas, a TV, and magnificent wooden beams steepled overhead.

The kitchen and dining areas offer a wooden dining table, curved breakfast bar, and all the amenities needed for culinary endeavours. Step through the doors to the balcony, a sublime spot for al fresco dining or simply admiring the breathtaking surroundings, where sightings of rabbits, foxes, roe deer, buzzards and even owls are possible. Feel free to take a stroll through the 3 acres of grounds and young woodland on site or if you prefer a longer walk, make use of the nearby public footpaths across open farmland onto the northernmost edge of Bodmin Moor.

Venture beyond this tranquil haven to explore Camelford, a gateway to mystical Bodmin Moor, where the vistas from Brown Willy and Rough Tor are mesmerising. Nearby Wadebridge beckons with its array of restaurants, antique shops, and pubs, while the famous Camel Trail offers cycling adventures to Bodmin or Padstow, in total 18 miles of pathway winding its way through leafy groves, past riverbanks and alongside the estuary. Padstow itself is a bustling fishing port renowned for its culinary delights and busy quayside. The beaches on this part of the coast are magnificent, offering surfing and swimming conditions and coastal walks revealing sublime vistas.

Further enchanting destinations await, including the picturesque villages of Boscastle and Tintagel, steeped in the legends of King Arthur.
