St Ann’s Chapel Nr Gunnislake. Situated in the small hamlet of St Ann's Chapel, on the Honicombe Manor Holiday Park, is this charming lodge, Le Val. This heart-warming retreat comes with a quirky reverse-level layout, with a bright and airy atmosphere which makes this a wonderful base for an exploration of Cornwall's finest sights. Entering the property, you will be greeted by three ground-floor bedrooms, set up as a double and two twins, most suitable for families or a group of friends. Each bedroom comes with a selection of contemporary furniture for storing your personal belongings, with the master benefiting from access to a Jack-and-Jill en-suite bathroom. There is also a separate shower room with electric shower, basin and toilet. Follow the stairs up to the first floor where you will be welcomed into an open-plan living room and dining area complete with two large fabric sofas, where you can enjoy a relaxing evening together as a family and take advantage of the provided DVD player and a selection of DVD’s. Gather at the dining table to enjoy a hearty breakfast and plan the day's events. Walk through to the compact, but well-equipped kitchen, finished to a high standard with a set of white units and sleek wooden worktops, offering plenty of preparation space for preparing your meals. From the sitting room, you can access a lovely balcony area, perfect for taking a cup of tea in the morning and watching the sunrise over the surrounding woodland and listen to the soothing sounds of the stream nearby or for catching up on some reading. Be sure to make the most of the on-site facilities at your leisure, with both an indoor and outdoor swimming pools, gym, games room, archery, table tennis and two play areas, there’s plenty on site to keep all ages entertained, with walking and nature trails offering a lovely way to end each evening on a scenic stroll. Within just a short drive of Le Val, is the National Trust property of Cotehele, known for its local history, it's beautiful architecture, small quay, water wheel, café and lovely walks along the Tamer. For some scenic walking opportunities, you can venture towards Kit Hill which is located within the Tamar Valley AONB and has some of the most magnificent views across Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, perfect for a long walk with your furry companion. For those feeling more adventurous, the Tamar Trails Centre is the perfect activity centre for families looking to enjoy treetop adventures, thrilling zip wires, canoeing, great cycling and walking trails There is a café for you to relax in after. The Dartmoor town of Tavistock with its pannier market, pubs and restaurants is a place to visit on the way for a walk on Dartmoor. Le Val is the perfect choice for a break with your loved ones for those that like rural days out but within driving distant for either coast with lovely beaches, City of Plymouth, Eden project and much more.

Drakewalls is a small village resting on the border of Cornwall, England, close to the beginning of the Devonshire countryside.
