This charming upside down cottage is one of fourteen holiday cottages on a small complex which sits in the Cornish village of Poughill (pronounced ‘Poffle’), Poughill is located just over a mile from Bude, which boasts sandy beaches, a sea pool and a great selection of shops, restaurants and pubs. Dairy cottage is conveniently located with lots of nearby attractions including National Trust beaches and waterfalls, Tintagel Castle, Boscastle, Widemouth Bay and fantastic cliff top walks. Alongside a great location, the onsite leisure facilities are sure to provide hours of fun for all, unlimited use of the indoor heated swimming pool, pool table, table tennis or enjoy the play area situated on a large field ideal for ball games such as football. Park outside Dairy Cottage and walk through the secure walled courtyard, home to outdoor seating and a BBQ area, into a lovingly refurbished family-owned cottage. Step inside the cottage to find a spacious hallway with facilities to hang coats and store those sandy shoes and wellies, one delightful bedroom with a king size bed and Freeview TV plus a bunk bedroom, perfect for the younger ones. The ground floor also hosts a family bathroom, so after a long day filled with fun you can soothe your muscles in the tub or wash the sand away in the overhead shower. Upstairs is where you will find a good-sized open plan seating, dining, and kitchen area, a comfortable L shaped sofa can be enjoyed where you can relax and watch your favourite TV shows on the 55-inch SMART TV. A dining table comfortably seating 4 people with room for a highchair can be found adjacent to the well-equipped kitchen, which contains electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and a dishwasher. Dairy Cottage is a great base at any time of year and provides everything you require from a self-catering break away in North Cornwall.

An old Cornish town between Bude and Kilhampton, Poughill The community has a friendly tavern, supermarket, and old church. Bude, just outside the village, has restaurants including Life's a Beach and The Bank at Bude Tapas and Grill, as well as a well-stocked convenience store. In the town, there's also the Bude Sea Pool, Summerleaze and Crooklets Beach, and The Lock, Bude Canal. Boscastle has the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, Warren Point, the South West Coast Path, and Boscastle Harbour.
