Right in the heart of the friendly resort town of Bude and a few yards from the shops is this neat, comfortable first-floor apartment above an independent sports shop. Light and airy, this open plan apartment provides smart accommodation for families wanting to have fun on the towns two big, sandy beaches just yards away. All on one floor, theres a bright, well-appointed, open-plan kitchen with dining area and sitting area with smart laminated floors and glazed doors leading to a small, private suntrap terrace, the perfect spot for planning the days adventures. There are three comfortable bedrooms, a double and a single both with en suite access to the same shower room, a twin and a family bathroom. The towns shops, pubs and restaurants couldnt be any closer and there are two magnificent sandy beaches (Summerleaze and Crooklets), a beach café, tennis courts, indoor swimming pool/sports centre, golf, riding all within easy walking distance. If you can tear yourself away from Budes attractions, there are many more fine beaches to enjoy along this delightful stretch of coast. This neat family apartment is brilliantly convenient for everything on offer in this friendly, seaside town.
Bude is a fabulous coastal town that once visited you will want to come back to time and time again. Bude has something for everyone, great beaches for relaxing, and building sandcastles on, rock pools for investigating at low tide and cafes to watch it all from.

The property was clean, well maintained, light, airy and comfortable. There are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms providing plenty of space and privacy. The main room is large, airy and well furnished with patio doors to the roof terrace. The roof terrace is small but this is a town centre- having any outside space for a first floor flat is a bonus. The owner was friendly and approachable. The position of the flat is ideal for exploring Bude and the surrounding area, there is some road noise but this is not excessive and you quickly get used to it. The flat also comes with a parking spot which is fantastic for a town flat. We had everything we needed except a hair dryer and a pair of scissors- the absence of these did not affect our holiday, just they would have been handy. Overall this is a great spacious flat and we will definitely book it for when we return to Bude.

We had an issue the first night with the DVD player but this was resolved the next day very quickly and on the Thursday the electrics went off and again this was resolved straight away The only drawbacks were a couple of very squeaky floorboards, which in an old building obviously canât be helped and the traffic was very noisy and took a couple of nights to get used to and again this couldnât be helped because it was the middle of the town We would come back again as we love Bude and we liked the flat

A big plus was being in the centre of town with allocated, easily accessible parking close by. Another important feature was the very comfortable double bed. Some steps to flat above a shop, not a problem, but a couple of steps, in the bedrooms corridor, and the one which was quite steep, we feel, would have benefitted from a handrail. A hair dryer would also have been appreciated. All in all a comfortable town centre apartment and despite being above a main street was quiet at night.
