About this property

Tresarrett Manor sits quietly in the tiny hamlet of Tresarrett, near Bodmin in North Cornwall. A handsome detached home offering a restful countryside retreat for families or couples looking to slow down and enjoy a more peaceful pace of life.

There is private access to a mile of salmon, sea trout and brown trout fishing ,this is available for all of our guests but you will need the relevant environment agency fishing permits.

Surrounded by lush greenery and winding lanes, it’s a fine base from which to discover Cornwall’s scenic heartland and rugged coastline.

Step inside and you’ll find a home full of warmth and character. The sitting room invites you to relax beside the open fire after a day’s exploring, while the spacious kitchen/diner comes well-equipped with an AGA, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, perfect for rustling up a hearty breakfast before heading out to the coast. A separate dining room lends itself to long, chatty dinners, while the sunroom and conservatory are ideal for morning coffee or a quiet read with a view of the garden.

Upstairs, there are three comfortable double bedrooms, one with its own en-suite basin and WC. The main bathroom feels indulgent, featuring a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower for a touch of luxury. Central heating keeps things comfortable all year round, and families will appreciate the option of a travel cot and highchair on request.

Outside, the enclosed garden is a delight, complete with a lawn, pond, patio furniture and a barbecue for those golden Cornish evenings. There’s also off-road parking available.

The village of Blisland offers a traditional pub, shop and village green within easy reach, while Bodmin, with its historic jail and the popular Camel Trail, lies just a short walk away. You can also head to Port Isaac, a postcard-perfect fishing village, or spend a day on the beaches of Newquay. Pencarrow House & Garden and Porfell Wildlife Park make great day trips too.

Whether you’re here to unwind or explore, Tresarrett Manor offers a timeless slice of Cornish countryside charm.

Nestled in the heavily wooded River Camel Valley is the pretty village of St Tudy in North Cornwall. Resting just over seven miles from the quaint fishing village of Port Isaac, and just a few miles from Bodmin Moor, St Tudy is a fantastic base for touring both the coast and countryside. St Tudy is home to a well-stocked village shop, a Post Office and a pub, St Tudy Inn, and lies just two miles from the start of the popular Camel Trail, a 17-mile cycle path following the river from Bodmin Moor down to Padstow. Surrounding attractions to visit include Tintagel Castle in the pretty coastal village of Tintagel, Pinetum Park and Pine Lodge Gardens, Lanhydrock House and Gardens, and Pencarrow House and Gardens.
