Nestled in a rural setting, with the owner's stables directly opposite, this converted apartment loft is a short walk from the village and its 12th century pub, whilst the Saints Way cuts close to the property and offers excellent trails, so be sure to bring your kit. The market town of Lostwithiel is within short driving distance with its small but good selection of shops, restaurants and pubs. Climb to Restormel Castle which overlooks the River Fowey and makes a for an excellent location for a picnic. The beautiful harbour of Fowey is also within easy reach, where the renowned author Daphne Du Maurier lived. A festival is held each May, that celebrates her life and works. Fowey Regatta week is a popular event to behold if you love boats, with competitive sailing events, a colourful and most lively street carnival, the Red Arrows display team and so much more. The picturesque and unspoilt harbour of Charlestown is also worth a visit. Built in the early 19th century for the export of copper and china clay, it is home to a collection of old ships which have been used in film projects like The New World and Brotherhood of the Wolf. It s Shipwreck and Heritage Centre has the largest UK collection of artefacts and treasure recovered from shipwrecks, making it one of the best places of historical interest to visit in the region. On arrival at the property, accessed via an external staircase, and situated above a store room, you will appreciate the open plan design on offer. The main space houses the lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area has comfortable seating and a Smart TV with Netflix and a DVD player to relax in front of to keep up to date with all your favourite shows, after a long day of touring. The kitchen area comes well equipped with a double fan electric oven and hob, a separate ceramic hob, microwave, integrated fridge with ice box, dishwasher, washing machine and in the dining area a table with seating for at least two diners. The front of the property overlooks a farm yard and stables where the farmer s horses live. The accommodation also offers one bedroom with king size bed and a TV/DVD. Nearby is the bathroom with shower over spa bath and WC. Step outside the property and you will find an enclosed level decked area to the rear on an elevated slope. Here you can relax in the hot tub or cook up a fest on the gas BBQ. Sit back and relax enjoying the wooded, countryside views at any time of day or night. At the front of the property there is ample off road parking.
