You’ll also find two hot tubs, a campfire, pool table room, large dining table and terrace with stunning views across the countryside, making this the ideal group getaway! You’ll have full access to the house and grounds, and there is adequate parking for up to six cars.

West Barn is in a great location, situated in the village of Wick, and is a perfect holiday base for those who wish to explore the many attractions the area has to offer. Bath and Bristol are both less than 10 miles away, and also within a short drive are the picturesque villages of Lacock and Castle Combe, both favourite locations for TV and film directors. Lacock features in Harry Potter, Downton Abbey and Pride and Prejudice, and Castle Combe was the backdrop for War Horse.

Experience the Georgian city of Bath, only 7 miles away by car, with its famous architecture, Jane Austen Centre and thermal spa (Thermae), the city offers something for everybody. The Roman Baths, The Royal Crescent, famous Pulteney Bridge and the Christmas markets are among the city’s many must see attractions. Nearby National Trust properties can be found within a short drive, as well as other stately homes. Head to Longleat Safari Park, or visit Avebury and Stonehenge, all under an hour away.

Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we’ll take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due.

Charcoal and firewood are not provided, please remember to bring your own.

Please be aware that personal stereo systems are NOT permitted. A Bluetooth speaker is provided for your use. Use of your own speaker system will cause the electric to be shut off as noise complaints from neighbours have forced us to install a decibel shut off system.
