We were aware of damp issues from recent flooding, quite sure the cottage will be lovely again after redecoration. Garden lovely and secure for dogs.

The cottage is beautiful and in a lovely location along a quiet lane. Parking was easy to find and very close by. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped. We really enjoyed lighting the log burner for a cosy evening in following a very wet walk in the Mendips! In better weather we would have made use of the lovely garden.I would say that for 4 adults the sleeping arrangements are snug but fine for a weekend (also, there were only 3 dining chairs). The beds are very comfortable and the lounge is lovely. Blagdon is a pretty village. We made use of the map in the cottage to plot a walk over the hills to the Plume of Feathers in Rickford for lunch by the roaring log fire ( highly recommended). Great communication from Lucy the owner about an issue that didn't actually affect us at all. All in all a great weekend and we would definitely book again.

Very well provisioned and very comfortable. Which was a good job as the weather was awful and we spent more time, than intended, in the cottage. It was great to have a dog walk on the door step. The Thai restaurant is definitely worth a visit as was the Seymour. We are going back in the Summer.
