Guests say

Meadow View is a spacious and comfortable cottage with beautiful views, ideal for family gatherings and those with pets. Its great location offers proximity to local attractions and the countryside. While some maintenance issues and cleaning oversights have been noted, the property generally provides a pleasant stay with a well-equipped kitchen and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The property has received mixed feedback on cleanliness. Some guests found it clean and tidy, while others reported it as 'grubby' with specific issues like dust, cobwebs, and unclean kitchenware. These inconsistencies suggest room for improvement in cleaning standards.

The cottage is appreciated for its pleasant area and great location for local attractions. However, concerns about a busy road and lack of pavements to the local pub at night slightly detract from the overall positive feedback on location.

Guests have praised the comfort of the beds and the warmth of the house. The spaciousness and quiet environment contribute to a comfortable stay, although there were minor suggestions for additional amenities like electric car charging.

Facilities are generally good with a well-equipped kitchen and ample space, but maintenance issues like non-working TVs, microwaves, and a lack of a log burner as advertised have been pointed out. The garden and outdoor seating also require attention.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the host in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

This place is huge inside especially. The views out back are fabulous. It was pretty quiet even though on a road. Beds comfortable and nice an warm in the house. Great location for a wedding at Coombe Lodge in October 2025.Only thing I would suggest is to bring hand towels, extra bathmat. A dehumidifier in the utility would be greatbfor drying washing but there is a tumble dryer. So that is me being super picky. Electric car charging or access to a 3 pin socket would have been helpful but we managed by charging when out towards Bristol. Tha k you to the owner and Kate the housekeeper.
