Little Orchard receives glowing feedback for its spotless presentation, comfortable furnishings, and peaceful countryside setting. Guests praise the well-equipped kitchen, spacious layout, and beautiful garden with orchard access. The owner is frequently described as friendly, helpful, and responsive, enhancing the overall experience. The location is ideal for exploring Bath, Bristol, and Somerset, with local amenities and scenic walks nearby. Minor issues, such as thin bedroom curtains and occasional maintenance niggles, are mentioned but do not detract from overwhelmingly positive impressions.
Cleanliness is consistently highlighted, with numerous guests describing the property as spotlessly clean, tidy, and well-maintained throughout their stay. Only one review mentions a minor issue, but this is outweighed by the overwhelmingly positive feedback.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, proximity to Bath, Bristol, and local attractions, as well as easy access to village amenities. A few guests note narrow roads, but this is typical for the area and does not significantly impact the overall positive sentiment.
Guests frequently mention the comfort of the house, including quality beds, cosy furnishings, and peaceful surroundings. Occasional comments about thin curtains and a radiator not heating fully are minor compared to the many positive remarks.
The cottage is described as very well equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen, good WiFi, and quality showers. Some guests note the absence of a downstairs toilet and a pizza wheel, and one mentions a temporary EV charger issue, but these are rare exceptions.
Many guests appreciate thoughtful touches such as guidebooks, fleecy blankets, and the opportunity to pick fruit from the orchard. Some mention small welcome packs (tea and coffee), but note that gifts or extras, such as fruit or welcome baskets, are not guaranteed and may vary.

Our holiday was excellent from start to finish. Little Orchard is well situated near Bath and Bristol and it was easy to get our bearings. The house had everything we needed. There were only four of us, but the house can accommodate six people. We had a Tesco grocery delivery on our first night, but we also used the local Spar supermarket. On our final night we ate out at the local Fish & Chip restaurant (recommended) in the village. It is called "The Haynes". We met the owner, Ralph, a couple of times during our stay. He kindly gave us some good recommendations of where to go and what to do.
