This detached property has been renovated to a high standard throughout boasting comfortable, family accommodation. Outside there is a rear garden backing on to the owner’s orchard.
There are numerous public footpaths which branch out from the village. A short walk up the lane toward Mearns, puts you on the path to the nearby pretty village of Timsbury, and takes in great views of the rolling countryside. The Greyfield Colliery has left its name to Greyfield’s Wood, a beautiful and well-cared for Woodland Trust site that conceals a secret waterfall. Also within easy reach is the cathedral town of Wells, atmospheric Glastonbury, the geological wonders of Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge, the beauties of the Chew Valley and the Mendip Hills, plus a host of English villages such as Chew Magna, Pensford, Timsbury and Bishop Sutton. For families, Longleat Safari Park is a 40-minute drive and an excellent day out. Shop and pub ¼ mile, restaurant 2 miles.

Little orchard is a great place to stay to explore Somerset- we loved coming back each day. Ralph made us welcome but left us to enjoy this lovely house - thank you. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The garden is a great space to explore. Would recommend and will return.

Fantastic house, clean, comfortable and everything you need. Lovely location in a village, able to walk to the shop, fish and chip shop, pub and church. Plenty of places to visit nearby. Wouldn't hesitate to return
