The cottage was ideal for our weeks stay with my daughter and grandchildren and the locality perfect for visiting family. However the cot mattress was stained and unclean and the cot linen unclean which was a disappointment. We stayed for a week but found there was a shortage of t towels, oven gloves and cooking equipment eg. Oven proof dishes which would have made self catering easier. Instructions on rubbish collection and more bags would have helped too. More storage space and a larger fridge would also have been useful.

The cottage is in a lovely place. giving easy acccess to the beautiful cotswolds. We stayed during the heatwave and would have benefitted from a fan. There were lots of doors and widows to open, but a few "wedges" for keeping the doors open would have helped, slightest breeze and they closed. As stated in another review the chairs are quite low and for someone with mobility problems could be a problem. Overall the cottage was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. In a lovely part of the country with easy access to shops and offering the ability to easily travel further afield. The description of Bluebell Cottage on the website is mis-leading it refers to bedroom 2 being accessed through Bedroom 1. This is not so they are on opposite sides of the main room. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the cottage.
