Lovely, clean and comfortable cottage. Great garden for a dog. Will definately be back. Couldn’t fault it

Fantastic week away, garden a great size for our dog, enclosed and secure. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the log burner as the smoke was filling the accommodation and it couldn’t be looked at until we were leaving. The owner was very accommodating and did offer us a change of accommodation, unfortunately the garden was very small and more open so we had to decline. We also felt the mattress in the bigger bedroom could do with updating. However we would definitely return as The Workshop is located in a fantastic area, spacious and clean, and had everything we needed for a lovely week away. 100% we will return

We had a lovely stay at The Workshop a week before Christmas, with it being decorated for Christmas too. Property is immaculate of a quite high standard, with two comfortable king size beds and nice ensuites in both rooms. We didn't use the log burner as it was hot enough indoors and as we have one of our own didn't feel we needed to dirty it for the sake of it, as it is behind the seating area, visual more when sat at the table, there was also an initial supply of wood provided to get you started though. The hot tub was great even in the rain, and a big enough, secure garden for our dog who loved it too, with walks straight into the woods from the front door, with lots of wildlife, including deer and owls, not to mention horses on the owners land. One of the evening's had such a clear dark sky, full of stars with even a shooting star to be seen with the sound of owls, such a relaxing and quiet location. There were some dog treats provided along with towels for muddy paws, and a bottle of wine, of our preference of colour which was asked prior to our arrival. Sam was very helpful, providing a shower stool in advance for my elderly mother, who very much appreciated that, as well as the property being on one even level, ideal due to Mum's reduced mobility now. Amenities are all very close by, ideal location for getting around and on the doorstep to the New Forest. This is definitely a little gem which we've found and plan to return again for sure.
