We spent a very comfortable week at the Old Dairy. Located on a small farm a few hundred yards from the main road…..which was not noisy. The accommodation was superb. Lovely beds, great shower room and very spacious living area. All well equipped although I think work top freezer may have been an afterthought. We found the lighting in the living area to be so high up that reading was not too easy. Bit disappointed that the pictured recliner didn’t recline . My wife is disabled, so the property was great for her except for the recliner. Would certainly stay again but we are in the habit of trying to travel far and wide for variety. Highly recommend this property. Oh……and it is lovely part of the country to visit, and the fairy roundabout on the nearby trunk road takes a bit of practice.

This was a late minute decision and I was very pleased with the result. The 'cottage' was spotless, warm and decorated for Christmas with a welcome hamper for us and the dog.Although it was on a main road, it was set back down a long drive and there was no traffic noise. I loves the avenue of trees leading up to the bungalow. The owners live on the land but were away for Christmas. They obviously read their guest book as have added items other guests found missing.Although dogs are allowed they are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms and there is no enclosed garden or patio for the early morning or late night wee...this was the only downside for us.

Excellent!! The Old Dairy is definitely worth a stay. Very nice clean and cosy, brilliant if you have a dog too. Our Dog has lots of energy and we had a great field to exercise him in and well away from the road. We were visiting family and we would definitely book again in the future .
