Spacious and contemporary lodge just perfect for a peaceful family break, the master double with picture windows and en suite shower and comfortable twin, along with family bathroom with shower over bath. The spacious, modern, well equipped open-plan living area is bright and air, with comfy sofas, kitchen area with island, breakfast bar and dining area. Patio doors lead on to spacious decking perfect for that morning coffee or relaxing in your own bubbling hot tub. Pets allowed in selected accommodation only.

Arrival Information: Darwin Escapes check-in’s are available from 16:00. If you are likely to arrive later than 18:00, please call our resort reception team on 01202 622 434 to let them know. Please note any guests under the age of 18 needs to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Departure Information: Check out time is at 10:00am on the day of your departure. Darwin Escapes kindly ask that you leave your accommodation as you found it.
Hot Tub Information: Please note due to water change and maintenance your hot tub may not be up to the correct temperature when you first arrive. By using the hot tub you are agreeing to Darwin Escapes’ terms and conditions, and agreeing that you have read their hot tub safety information, found here.
Bathrobes: Bathrobes are available to hire for £5.00 per bathrobe. Please note: Bathrobes are only available on a request basis when you arrive at the park.
Travel cot or bed guard hire: You can request a travel cot on your booking. Please note, there is no bedding provided and the mattresses are folding, thin and firm and is provided by manufacturer. We require you to follow the safety instructions, which state not to use a secondary mattress or any padded bedding such as pillows or quilts. You must bring your own bedding (e.g infant sleep bags). Please contact reception for mattress dimensions should you require. For further information on safe sleeping in travel cots please refer to information available from sites such as the Lullaby Trust. Important travel COT information Manufacturers instructions are provided at the point of issue and cots are cleaned in line with these after each use. Please also be aware that travel cots may not fit in double/master bedrooms in selected units, please call reception on 01202 622 434 for more information if a cot is needed.
Pets: Please make sure that you have included your pet in your booking. If your pet is not included, Darwin Escapes will either relocate you to a pet-friendly lodge, if there is one available, or holds the right to refuse access to the resort. You may be liable for any charges incurred.

I recently returned to the lodge for our third visit, and I have to admit, I left feeling a bit disappointed this time. The team on the ground was super friendly and really helpful, which I appreciated, but considering the price we paid, I expected a bit more, especially when it came to cleanliness and the amenities working properly.We had booked this trip based on a wonderful experience we had back in March at the same grade lodge, so I was really unsure why things seemed to have slipped. For starters, the shower water pressure was disappointingly low. It took forever just to rinse my hair, and we tried both bathrooms, only to face the same issue. Then there was the toilet situation. The main en suite required us to keep pushing down the toilet roll to get it to flush properly. Not exactly ideal . Adding to that, the overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I was shocked at how dirty the floors were my socks got filthy on the first day, which forced me to buy slippers just to feel comfortable.I really hoped for a better experience this time around, especially given how much we enjoyed it before. I just think a little more attention to detail could go a long way in making the lodge feel like the great getaway it has the potential to be.
