Guests say

Juniper 2 Premier lodges offer a peaceful and well-equipped retreat in a beautiful location, with many guests praising the hot tub, spaciousness, and friendly staff. The lodges are ideal for relaxing getaways and are conveniently located for exploring Dorset. While many guests found the accommodation clean and comfortable, some noted that standards of cleanliness and maintenance have declined over time, with occasional issues such as worn furnishings and inconsistent water pressure. Overall, the lodges provide a pleasant stay with excellent access to local attractions.

Many guests found the lodges clean and tidy on arrival, but a significant number reported issues such as dust, mould, cobwebs, and general wear and tear. Some guests felt a deep clean was needed, while others described spotless conditions. The mixed feedback suggests cleanliness is inconsistent.

The location is frequently praised as peaceful, private, and ideal for exploring Dorset, with easy access to local attractions and nature walks. Guests consistently highlight the tranquil setting and convenience.

Guests generally found the lodges spacious and comfortable, with super comfy beds and good heating. Some mentioned uncomfortable sofas and minor issues with bedding or furnishings, but most enjoyed a restful stay.

Facilities such as the hot tub, kitchen equipment, and washer/dryer are appreciated, and maintenance staff are responsive. However, several guests noted issues with water pressure, worn appliances, missing items, and outdated TVs. Facilities are good but could benefit from upgrades.

Some guests were pleasantly surprised by small touches like tea and coffee, but these are not guaranteed. Staff are described as friendly and helpful, though there are occasional reports of less attentive service.

Juniper 2 premier needs an upgrade but overall satisfactory Shower in ensuite is old and not looking great so might be time for an update, it smells of mould and has mould patches on the ceiling The overall lodge is nice but it definitely needs a refurbishment in certain areas (ensuite and tvs) Kitchen is lovely and well proportioned. Reception team were lovely on arrival.Privacy in hot tub lodges is great. It was clean, tidy but it had a stagnant water smell in the lodge, which was not great when you first arrive. We bought our own fans as it was really warm over July. They had one in a wardrobe but it was old & dirty looking. Lidl is less than 10 mins away by car and this was easy to get to, to stock up on essentials for the week.Location is excellent 15 mins from Poole, 12 miles from Monkey world, close to Sandbanks, Bournemouth, Corfe castle so lots to do. Wifi is diabolical in the lodge and patchy at best so come prepared for that as it was a bit of a pain.No smart tv so we could not chill in the evening with netflix/disney, all the other lodges I've been to have this so spend some money and upgrade this bit please. Hot water is inconsistent so showers were not super fun. There is a Pub a short walk (slightly dicey) walk away but book ahead and be prepared to wait for food.

Visited the site last year and was very impressed with the site and booked again for this year. Sadly this year it was clearly visible that standards have dropped. The lodge was clean however to a low standard over grown grass weeds coming through the decking just needs attention to detail. All staff working on site extremely friendly and impressed with the attention showed to the hot tub. Overall a very relaxing break just up the standards.

I won't be recommending these lodges as we had booked for 7nights but came away after just 4 nights. I had become very unwell after being bitten too many times, then we saw how dirty/dusty it was under the double bed and knew then that it was dust mites. The shower was either boiling hot water or stone cold. The spare bedroom smelt of damp and had mould on the curtains. From the outside these lodges look great but look closer once your inside. I won't be coming back.
