Just a short walk away from the property in Salvington, you will find the welcoming George & Dragon pub, as well as The Vine and The Parsonage restaurants, each offering flavourful home-cooked dishes, ideal for those evenings where you don’t fancy cooking! Travel east along the coast to the thriving resort of Brighton and visit the Palace pier with amusements and fairground rides, Sea life aquarium, the Royal Pavilion, Brighton Museum, the Booth Museum of Natural History and the Brighton Toy and Model Museum. Brighton is additionally renowned for the Lanes ( full of jewellery shops) and the North Laines with its plethora of independent shops. Why not visit Arundel, a picturesque city settled on Arun River, with its breath-taking, medieval castle, impressive cathedral and the nearby Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust. Pay Chichester a visit, a place famous for the Chichester Festival theatre, Bishops Palace garden and its cathedral; the town truly beholds a lovely atmosphere, which can be taken in on a walk around the city walls. Chichester is also near the Weald and Downland museum, where The Repair Shop is filmed, and Goodwood, a great spot for races and events, as well as the Fishbourne Bignor Roman Villas! Venture into the South Downs National Park, where you will find the impressive National Trust site of Devils Dyke, where you can test your putting game at the excellent 18-hole Dyke Golf Club, as well as the Jack and Jill Windmills, the National Trust site of Cissbury Ring and Monk’s House. No teapot, very limited basic cutlery. Very old bathroom, black mould on tile grouting, mimiscule toilet ,50,s vintage, no grab rail in shower..But, owners only been letting one year, so altho the rest of the bungalow was nicely decorated and very clean, possibly the need to update the vintage bathroom will be next on the agenda. .with it being a very hot sunny week, couldn’t,t sit in the lovely garden for long as no parasol/umbrella for the garden table. Shame.
