Close by, is the city of Chichester, which is home to the world famous Chichester Cathedral and all its medieval history. Chichester also boasts a wealth of restaurants, bars and boutique shopping, perfect if you are looking for some retail therapy. Venturing slightly further afield keen walkers can enjoy exploring the South Downs National Park and there are many visitor attractions to keep the family entertained, including Goodwood with its various annual events, Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, Fishbourne Roman Palace, many National Trust properties and Arundel Castle.
