As in September 2024 we could again experience an excellent stay in the 1st class holiday home „Kennet Valley View“.There was once again a very warm welcome by Gloria and Bruce and also a surprise of finding two new arm chairs in the living and dining room.We really enjoyed the comfort and cosiness of this ***** holiday home whenever there was no excursion planned or possible. Last year we had already visited all the important sights. But visitors should not miss to visit the beautiful towns of Abingdon and Henley-on-Thames as well as the Henry Street Garden Centre. We may also recommend a free visit of the ‚Reading Museum‘ in the Town Hall. There you will find a unique replica of the famous ‚Bayeux Tapestry‘ telling the story of the Norman invasion of England in 1066. Do not miss this special work of art. Finally we heartfully thank Gloria and Bruce for all their help, advice and care. They have been our best hosts ever.Jutta and Manfred from Solingen (Germany) called ‚The World Capital of Cutlery‘
