A quiet gently sloping, sandy beach with promenade. At low tide walk along the beach to Ramsgate (check tide times), explore the rock pools for shrimps and crabs or take a stroll along the cliff top. Broadstairs offers restaurants, cafes and gift shops. Enjoy the regular summer fireworks displays and festivals, including Folk Week, or take to your bike and explore the beautiful 27 mile Viking Way. Alternatively Westwood Cross shopping, 2 miles, offers 53 stores, restaurants, cinema and casino. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

We were so pleased to have find a peaceful, private place to spend a relaxing week with our little rescue dog. Being only a moment from the coastal path was perfect as we were able to walk into Broadstairs and Ramsgate and the local beach at Dumpton Gap is dog friendly all year with an excellent cafe too. The Loop bus was within a short distance and took us to several places well worth a visit. The only negative for us was the lack of a close local shop for groceries but we had come well stocked for the first few days. The property itself is modern and comfortable and seemed to have been professionally cleaned with a few exceptions. The garden area was very secure for dogs and a lovely place to sit after a long walk.
