Corner View is a quaint one bedroom apartment located in the heart of Broadstairs, Kent. This property has been decorated and furnished to a good standard and is equipped with Wi-Fi and a smart TV. With sea views from the living room, Corner View is a stone’s throw from the beach and is situated amongst the wide range of shops, bars and restaurants in Broadstairs high street. It is the perfect sea side location for couples and small families. Viking Bay is one of the more picturesque beaches in Kent, and surrounding this is an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants for you to enjoy. This property is also ideal for walking enthusiasts, with Thanet Coastal Path close by, the longest continuous stretch of chalk coastline in the country. Also, the Viking Coastal Trail is a 27 mile walk, passing through Viking Bay. Alternatively, enjoy a surfing lesson at Joss Bay, only 5 minutes’ drive away.
Just a little further round the coast is Margate’s old town, home to a unique selection of retro shops along with the famous Turner Contemporary Art Gallery which has modern and historic art exhibitions all year round. The coastal towns of Deal and Dover are only a short drive away, why not take a day trip by ferry for lunch in Paris, or visit the iconic white cliffs of Dover, there is so much to do and enjoy from this central location. For history and culture lovers, Canterbury is approximately 30 minutes’ drive. Here you can visit the famous cathedral, explore the city walls and take a river tour through time or just relax in one of the many wine bars it has on offer. Beach 50 yards. On arriving at Corner View we were very disappointed as the cleaners had not attended the property. After calling the owner she advised there had been a “hiccup”. We ended up having to find clean bedding and towels etc and cleaning the property ourselves as the owner could not get a cleaner to the property in time. When a cleaner was available late that evening after we had cleaned, it was inconvenient to us and now not necessary. We had been offered a refund but after returning home the refund was withdrawn and we were told to take it up with the company which we currently are. The service we received from the owner was appalling and we were also accused of more people staying at the property than there were which the owner admitted her error after I explained that all the dirty bedding and towels were from the previous guests. Overall a very unacceptable experience
