About this Holiday Cottage

Perfect for larger families or groups, Great Higham Barn is an award winning thatched holiday property with use of onsite leisure facilities available and wonderful country walks in the surrounding area. 

Inside

The main sitting room has sofas and armchairs for up to fourteen people plus beans bags for a further four. There is also a coffee table, TV, DVD player and adjoining WC. There is a further snug/ playroom with Playstation and luxury kitchen with double range electric oven, extractor fan, two dishwashers, larger fridge and separate utility with washing machine and separate dryer. Glass and wood stairs lead up to the first floor open mezzanine level and the main dining area can seat up to 18 people with French doors leading out into the garden. There is a second dining area in the kitchen which can seat 12 people.

Independent room - accessed via the garden or spiral staircase from the first floor, this room has a king size double or set of twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with shower.

There is a large garden and shared tennis court, hot tub and swimming pool. Mountain bikes can be hired for your stay.

Other Things to Note

The property can be booked with other accommodation onsite to sleep up to 44 people. The development is carbon neutral with all the heating supplied by the estate's coppiced woodland. Electricity also comes from a renewal source.

Availability

Short breaks are welcome. Pets are welcome at £20 per week. The changeover day is Friday.
