Lovely seaside self-catering Kent holiday cottage in a privileged location within 100 metres from the charming pebble beach in the bay of Kingsdown.
We are delighted to present this very special and unique beachside cottage, beautifully restored - very "seaside chic"! Capturing the Bohemian charm of an original Victorian fisherman's cottage; whitewash wood floorboards, an eclectic mix of antique furnishings against modern contemporary splashes of colour and not forgetting the wonderfully picturesque picket fence.
Kingsdown Cottage is nestled among a cluster of cottages on a private road. Take a stroll along the seafront edged with many candy coloured beach huts. For those looking to escape the kitchen or indeed the BBQ, why not try one of the two pubs at either end of the street with a glass of wine and the catch of the day whilst watching the sunset from the terrace at The Zetland Arms. The dramatic cliffs at St Margaret’s bay or the striking historic sites in Deal and Walmer are not far.

Lovely property and very well equipped. Very comfortable beds and had everything we needed for a great holiday. Very well located too. We would highly recommend.

Plum Tree is in a good location for what we wanted....near to family and the attractions we wanted to see. The cottage was not as well equipped as we would have liked, but we do appreciate the price would have been higher if it were. It is truly a two person cottage. The bed was very comfortable but a 13.5 tog duvet in the summer..? That got whipped off the bed very quickly! Lovely shower room with good towels. We had fun with the sofas, which are comfy but seem to eat you whole when sitting in them - I practically had to be winched out! The back garden is fine but in July loses the sun in the evening due to the large trees behind it. In summary, a good basic cottage in a lovely location for us.
