Deal is a vibrant seaside town with a an unspoilt conservation area and plenty of individual artisan shops and great restaurants to discover. The wide shingle beach is bordered by a coastal walk and cycle path that stretches all the way to Kingsdown and beyond towards Dover. The pier is a great place for an evening stroll to enjoy the views of the town. There are two castles to visit and also 2 links golf courses to choose from, if you are feeling sporty. For the little ones there is a lovely free paddling pool on the front close to the bandstand where you can enjoy concerts on a Sunday afternoon from May - September. There is a mainline railway station within easy walking distance, providing services to London.
