On the edge of rolling fields in the peaceful Kent countryside, this pretty ground floor converted stable offers a perfect retreat for a couple or small family who would like to holiday near the cathedral city of Canterbury.

Facing the 900-year-old St. Mary the Virgin’s Church, Farthingales Stables is one of two outbuildings, which forms part of a pretty Grade II listed 15th Century homestead; located in the village of Nonington. Farthingales Barn is it’s bigger sister, which can be booked together with the Stables for larger groups.

This newly converted cottage offers spacious accommodation including an open plan living/dining room with gas wood burner, oak floors and country style fitted kitchen. It has been finished and decorated to an extremely high standard and feels very welcoming, an extremely sought after place to stay whatever the time of year.

Both ground floor bedrooms are conveniently designed with an en-suite shower room and toilet. Outside there is space to sit and enjoy a cup of tea or a spot of alfresco dining in the back garden with your family and friends.

Escape to the Kent countryside, soak up the tranquil atmosphere and enjoy a slower pace of life at Farthingales.
