This refurbished Victorian cottage is perfect for a family friendly holiday by the sea. Whitstable is a delightful seaside town that offers plenty of activities for families. The town has a wealth of independent shops and a fine selection of restaurants, cafes and pubs. Enjoy the beach and coastal walks as well as a variety of water sports including windsurfing, kite surfing and sailing. Whitstable is famous for its oysters which are celebrated every July at the Oyster Festival. Why not take a bike ride along the seafront, or follow the Crab and Winkle Way or ride along the coast of Herne Bay. Nearby is the city of Canterbury, which is home to the country s oldest Cathedral. Visit the ancient ruins of St Augustine's Abbey and St Martin's Church which form Canterbury's unesco World Heritage site. Enter the property to find the stylish open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area has a large comfy sofa, two mid century chairs for relaxing, open fires, TV with access to BT Sports, Netflix and a DVD player. There is also a rustic farmhouse table with six chairs. There are two king size bedrooms one with a four poster bed, and views over the local cricket pitch, and a one bunk bedroom. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC. French doors from the dining area lead out into a fully enclosed garden with a large decked area complete with garden bench, a patio table and chairs for six, and a BBQ. There is also a lawn area for children to play on. There is unrestricted roadside parking in the surrounding area, both outside the property and also on adjacent streets.
