This lovely newly refurbished in 2021 ground floor apartment is a short walk from the beach and town centre and is perfect for a break at the seaside. Whitstable offers plenty of bars, pubs, cafés and restaurants as well as the beach, arcades and parks. Bridgefield Court is ideally located for exploring the Garden County of Kent with its picture perfect resorts dotted along the coastline. There are also beautiful beaches to explore and stunning castles and of course, plenty of places where you can enjoy delicious food and drink.
The property has a pre-pay electric meter which will be credited £10-£15 each day for your stay over the winter months. 01/October-01/may. The electric top-up is straightforward and instant via the shell app. All information is available in the welcome pack.

Arrived tues.first impressions good.However no hot water.contacted the owner who was unable to do anything before Saturday(the day we were leaving)Clearly not satisfactory but we decided to stay and manage with shower and kettle.Over the next few days various problems ariseNo mirrors in bedroomsNo bedside light or table/shelf in bedrooms 2No information pack i.e. shops buses restaurants pubs etcNo info/booklets for appliances so difficult to operateNo guest bookOnly one saucepanHave messaged owner twice with suggested inexpensive improvements and also suggested some refund would be appropriate in circumstances.No response!

A light spacious ground floor flat in a residential area, with the shingle beach and village of Tankerton within a few hundred yards and a lovely coastal path of about 1.5 miles into the gem that is Whitstable. We had lovely weather and particularly enjoyed the outside space at the apartment. The apartment is used off season for longer term lets which probably explains the wear and tear in some areas eg carpets and why there were not the usual things we have had with other cottages.com rentals eg welcome pack, information on the local area and instructions on how to use appliances. The main issue for us was the WiFi signal which was really poor. We did have a couple of issues including the WiFi which we did report the owner who was very amenable and said he would look into them.

No information on how to use equipment. We arrived about 3,15 and couldn't park anywhere as there's a school nearby. The designated parking was taken and wasn't free for two hours. This caused us problems as i am disabled and have limited mobility. The cooking pans were limited. luckily there is plenty of eating places locally which were excellent. The bed was comfortable the sofa less so.
