Whitstable is famous for its’ ‘Native Oysters’, which were collected from beds beyond the low watermark from Roman times until the mid-20th century. The annual Whitstable Oyster Festival takes place during the summer and oysters are still very popular and available moments from your doorstep. Whitstable is what tourists think of when they picture a quaint English seaside town. There are numerous excellent restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. Whitstable’s Harbour and beach is located right outside your front door and a minute’s walk away, as are local shops for everything you could need.

Sea Scape is a spacious, detached property located in the conservation area, finished to a very high standard with plenty of room for four/five people to stay. It has been beautifully furnished and renovated in 2021 with oak flooring and a plethora of Farrow & Ball colours. Whip up some fantastic meals in the modern kitchen and enjoy quality time together around the dining table in the conservatory. There is also a large courtyard garden, set up for dining. When you arrive, there is no need to try and locate a parking space as this is one of the few properties in the heart of Whitstable to have parking for 2/3 cars. If you are looking to visit the lovely town of Whitstable, this is the ideal place to stay.

    First visit to Whitstable, not the last, lovely place, lots of quaint streets, pubs, restaurants and shops, friendly people, nice seafront for a picnic, good base for exploring the beautiful and historic county of Kent. Secure offroad parking, conveniently behind locked gates. Couple of slight negatives - our quaint narrow street was a little too narrow, with residents' cars parked on both sides, but managed to find a shortcut to our more accessible end via a sidestreet. A bit noisy, being next door to (albeit excellent) pub and eatery, plus barking late night dogs. And why all the fireworks? Two nights after eleven pm!

    Fantastic property- brilliantly central in lovely Whitstable. Just a few minutes walk from the high street and also the harbour.Lots of lovely eateries close by. It made for a lovely break away with my toddler and my husband.The cottage was very thoughtfully decorated and kitted out with quality items to make it home from home.The owners were very responsive, very helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay.Thank you! Will definitely be back.
