Marlowe Apartment is a stylish bohemian city pad with stunning theatrical and contemporary interior, located in the centre of historic Canterbury.

This first floor split level apartment boasts great views over the ancient cobbled high street and its wealth of cafes, quirky independent shops and friendly local pubs. Enjoy striking retained features throughout including exposed stone walls, beams and ornate fireplaces.

Stairs lead up to a quiet bedroom and kitchen area – the perfect vantage point with views over the rooftops and across the city.  

Inside

The split level living accommodation in this apartment is divided by a central grand staircase. The lower level has a sitting room with comfortable leather sofas and a bean bag seating from 4 to 6 guests. Entertainment facilities include a TV with DVD player. Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment.

Up the grand wooden staircase there is further first floor living accommodation comprising a fully equipped self catering kitchen with fridge freezer, oven and hobs, microwave and a washing machine. There is a family dining table in the centre of the kitchen.  

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Accessed via the living room, the master bedroom has a king size bed, a TV and boasts striking views from the double sash windows. At the bottom of the grand staircase there is a cosy single day bed.

On the first floor there is a double bedroom with a king size bed and additional sofa bed. A small family bathroom on the first floor has a shower cubicle and separate toilet.  

Outside

The first floor apartment is situated directly above a vintage jeweller with shared access.  

Other Things to Note

Bed linen and towels are provided for your arrival and a cot for younger guests is available on request. Please note that the apartment is strictly non-smoking and we cannot accommodate pets.

As we are centrally located, please expect that there may be some noise over the weekend. Parking is available nearby at a charge of £20 per week minimum and must be pre-booked.  

Around and About

Directly above the bustling city streets, the apartment boasts the most central location available with easy access to independent cafes, pubs and unique boutique style shops. It is set in an ideal position just a short stroll from attractions including the West Gate Towers and the Cathedral.

The Marlowe Theatre is situated next door and the apartment has great access to both the railway and bus station.
