Upon entering the property, you will be taken in by a charming sitting room with a toasty woodburning stove and TV taking centre stage; perfect for those family movie nights! Progress through to the kitchen/diner to discover a superb selection of appliances for you to rustle up those homecooked favourites with, to be enjoyed at the close-by dining table; the kitchen additionally hosts a washing machine, for extra convenience. Soak up in the well-presented bathroom's bath with hand-held shower as you reminisce about the superb time you're having. Climb the stairs to find two lovely bedrooms, one being a king-size and the other being a single room. Rose Cottage benefits from a sunny courtyard to its rear, with ample seating for you to stretch out on whilst you enjoy a spot of reading or morning coffee. You can enjoy tasty meals, without the cooking or hassle, at the friendly Duke of Cumberland pub which is situated just down the street from the property; Barham additionally hosts a well-stocked village shop around the corner from Rose Cottage. After venturing through the picturesque villages surrounding Barham, from Bridge to Kingston, continue to the cathedral city of Cantebury for a day filled with attractions; tour the fantastic Westgate Towers Museum, St Augustine's Abbey, and Canterbury Castle, before exploring the city's stunning green spaces and plethora of independent shops. The kids will be delighted with the brilliant Howletts Wild Animal Park and Wingham Wildlife Park situated on the outskirts of the city. Venture south to find the coastal town of Dover where you can learn of the town's wartime history by exploring the Secret Wartime Tunnels, viewing the Western Heights of Dover with its surrounding historic landmarks, before spending the afternoon strolling around the town's picturesque marina; Dover is also home to a glorious Castle with guided tours, that backs onto the trail to The White Cliffs of Dover. Spend the day in Sandiwch and Pegwell Bay and savour a well-deserved rest on the nature reserve's soft sands, before trying your hand at golf at the selection of beachside clubs or exploring the popular Pegwell Bay Country Park. There is so much more that this region has to offer, outdoors enthusiasts can visit Blean Woods National Nature Reserve and the Kent Downs AONB whilst those wanting to see more of the coast can travel further afield to the bustling towns of Ramsgate and Margate.
