Arrival Information: Darwin Escapes check-in’s are available from 16:00. If you are likely to arrive later than 18:00, please call our resort reception team on 01227 701 110 to let them know.
Departure Information: Check out time is at 10:00am on the day of your departure. Darwin Escapes kindly ask that you leave your accommodation as you found it.
Travel cot hire: You can request a travel cot on your booking. Please note, there is no bedding provided and the mattresses are folding, thin and firm and is provided by manufacturer. We require you to follow the safety instructions, which state not to use a secondary mattress or any padded bedding such as pillows or quilts. You must bring your own bedding (e.g infant sleep bags). Please contact reception for mattress dimensions should you require. For further information on safe sleeping in travel cots please refer to information available from sites such as the Lullaby Trust. Important travel COT information Manufacturers instructions are provided at the point of issue and cots are cleaned in line with these after each use. Please also be aware that travel cots may not fit in double/master bedrooms in selected units, please call reception on 01227 701 110 for more information if a cot is needed.
Pets: Please make sure that you have included your pet in your booking. If your pet is not included, Darwin Escapes will either relocate you to a pet-friendly lodge, if there is one available, or holds the right to refuse access to the resort. You may be liable for any charges incurred.

The sofa and chairs were not comfortable, too soft .Beds very comfy!Although it was great to have the parking facility right outside the Lodge as it was on a bend and a steep slope we only used it once, made use of visitor's spaces but obviously that is not as convenient.1 dishwasher tablet not enough!!Only 1 hanger each provided but Reception found us several more, which we appreciated.

Recently had a mid week stay at Canterbury Reach Lodge and was pleasantly surprised by how peaceful it was despite it being half term! Our veranda was incredibly private so was able to sit out and enjoy the unusually hot weather. The 2 bed/2 bath lodge was spacious and well equipped with comfy beds and suited our needs perfectly. The location was great with countryside on the doorstep and only 25 mins to a handful of beaches & 16 mins to Canterbury.My only disappointment was the cleanliness, particularly the edges of the rooms. A fair amount of dust and dirt so it was as if the hoover & mop didn't reach those areas so that'll do! The bath was pretty dirty and had a 'tide mark' which when rubbed, dirt came off. Nothing that a quick kitchen wipe didn't solve but this did let it down. I requested an outdoor broom as again the veranda had not been swept for a good while. I can easily manage and expect foliage and wind blown leaves but it was dirty. Saying that, all the other things were positive which out weighed the 1 negative and I would return...just hoping the lodge is a little cleaner next time!

Lovely quiet resort the Lodges were well equip and within easy access of Canterbury and the coast.
