Guests say

Greenridge is a well-regarded cottage praised for its peaceful gardens, spaciousness, and proximity to the beach and local amenities. Guests appreciate the well-stocked kitchen and the quiet location, ideal for family stays and sunset views. Some minor issues were noted, but overall, the property provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Most guests found the property clean, with particular mention of tidy rooms. However, some noted the need for general TLC and mentioned issues like black mould in the bathroom, suggesting room for improvement in cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for being close to the beach, restaurants, and offering beautiful sunsets. The only drawback mentioned is the rough access road, but it is still considered navigable.

Guests describe the property as comfortable, with high-quality furniture and a homely feel. The presence of a well-stocked kitchen and efficient heating adds to the comfort. A suggestion for an additional loo and the setup of beds not matching the description were minor discomforts.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and efficient heating. However, maintenance issues like a broken gate and the need for more cooking pans were highlighted, indicating some areas need attention.

While guests appreciated the welcome pack including milk and bread, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of such gestures across all stays. Therefore, while thoughtful touches are mentioned, they cannot be guaranteed for every guest.

the cottage was perfect for our needs. the rooms were clean and at home feeling. the only thing we would have liked was a few more cooking pans because for 3 adults and one with a lot different food restrictions it wasn't easy to cook in these one person cooking pans. even while the cottage is one main street it was amazing how quiet it was there. The backroad is in a very bad state but that's typical for Isle of Wight. it's for us surely a place to rent again next year

I was looking for somewhere to grieve after losing my darling husband and Greenridge did not disappoint. It is a beautiful bungalow with high quality furniture and furnishings set within peaceful, well kept gardens. We loved our stay but would suggest an anti slip mat and a blind in the bathroom and an additional set of side plates. I was also disappointed that although described as a double bed in the second bedroom that could be made into single beds if required, the single beds were already set up. That was misleading.

Very spacious and great size tv. Although the rooms are clean, general TLC required in the kitchen and outside. Heating very efficient. Some towels need to be replaced. Good location to explore west side of the island. 15 minute walk to The Waterfront restaurants/bar to watch a beautiful sunset.
