Fourteen of us stayed for a week for a Golden Wedding celebration. We had a great time. The house is terrific and the kids particularly liked all the nooks and crannies, and the play barn. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and pantry were extremely well-equipped with all the utensils, crockery, pots, pans and ovenware that you could possibly need, plus a cavernous fridge freezer and two other, smaller fridges. We enjoyed the hot tub on several occasions and also the gas-fired barbecue. We got used to the Aga range fairly quickly and found it very useful to have a second (induction) stove as well. All in all thoroughly recommended!

Great place, like a stately home, so spaciousWe had 12 people but it will easily fit 16 - lots of bathrooms and great hot water systemLoved the garden and courtyard - walled so dogs cant get out - and the hot tub is awesome, easily fits 6 or even 8 (actually it was not working when we arrived for the first rental post lockdown but the guy came out within half an hour and fixed it)Games room would be great if it rained, but it didnt so we were on the beachNothing much nearby so you need to drive 10-15 minutes to pub, shop, beach etc, but the grounds are superb, and we loved the alpacas !Could do with some nice wine glasses, more bottle/wine openers and outside lights and the BBQ is a bit old and cronky - but they left us loads of gas. Only has 2 TV's, which might be an issue if you have lots of kids &/or rain
