Nestled amongst a handful of charming thatched cottages on a quiet passageway, this cottage oozes peace and tranquillity. It s just a stone s throw from the small seaside resort, where the sand gently slopes into the water and paddling, swimming, and boating can be enjoyed. On the seafront you ll find a variety of eateries with stunning sea views, plus traditional seaside entertainments including amusements and 18 hole crazy golf. Shanklin Chine provides an attractive route from the old village to the beach and is well worth a visit. The town has plenty of amenities, including a train down to Ryde where you can travel onwards to the mainland. Two steps up to the kitchen you ll find everything you need during your stay, including an electric oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge; a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer are in a separate outbuilding. Put your feet up in the lounge area and curl up on the comfortable sofas in front of the TV/DVD. There s a separate dining area with seating for four, perfect for a family dinner or two during your stay. A fairly steep staircase leads to two charming bedrooms one double, which has been decorated in nautical decor, and one twin plus a bathroom with a handheld shower over the bath and a WC. The cottage has a small, enclosed gravelled courtyard garden, with outdoor furniture providing an excellent spot for al fresco dining or relaxing in the sun. A complimentary car parking permit is provided for one car for the length of your stay by reimbursement; the car park is nearby. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin. 1 bathroom with handheld shower over the bath and WC. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge. A couple of deep steps lead down from the path with one shallow step up into the entrance door . There is a sloped ceiling in the bathroom and two steps from the dining room to the kitchen.
