Day trips are an essential part of the Isle of Wight experience and Shanklin Heritage Centre with its cascading waterfalls and historic gorge and Rylstone Gardens cliff top walks are particularly enchanting.
Only a short walk away you can enjoy a wide range of activities, lounge in a deck chair on the golden sandy beach, swim in the clear waters, play Crazy Golf on the Esplanade, enjoy a cream tea in one of the thatched tea rooms in the picturesque ‘Old Village, take a stroll through the historical Shanklin Chine, whilst whistful drives and majestic scenery are never far away, with 70% of the island designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
