The small coastal resorts of Shanklin and Ventnor are an easy drive away travel a little further and you can explore the market town of Newport with its medieval castle at Carisbrooke. The cottage is located above a charming tea shop with its own private entrance through an ancient door at the side. Upon entering and ascending the stairs you ll see that the accommodation spans the entire upper floor of the property. It has been artfully furnished to provide inviting accommodation as showcased by the charming lounge with comfortable seating and TV. You can find a spacious dining area and fitted kitchen equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave refrigerator with ice compartment plus washer/dryer. The first of two bedrooms is a lovely double with a wardrobe. The pretty second bedroom has a single bed with additional Z-bed if required which is suitable for a small child. The bathroom has a shower over a bath and WC. Outside there is shared use of the garden and its furniture with views across the village accessed by a separate entrance from the rear pathway. During the day this may be used by guests of the tearoom. There is roadside parking for one car on a quiet lane nearby.
