Needles And Winds offers spectacular views and a peaceful location, ideal for exploring the Isle of Wight. Guests appreciate the clean, cosy space and the added convenience of a fridge freezer. While some find the accommodation a bit tired and suggest improvements, the positive aspects such as the amazing outlook and proximity to coastal paths are consistently praised.
Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. While some guests found the property clean and cosy, one review highlighted significant cleanliness issues. This suggests variability in the standard of cleanliness between stays.
The location is highly praised for its spectacular views and peacefulness, making it an excellent base for exploring the Isle of Wight's south-west coast.
Guests find the accommodation comfortable and perfect for their stay, though some mention that the dining chairs and other aspects are a bit tired, indicating room for improvement in comfort.
Facilities like the fridge freezer are appreciated, but the lack of cupboard space and the need for a clothes airer are noted. Maintenance issues such as broken heaters and out-of-date electrical testing in one review suggest that facilities could be better maintained.
There is no mention of gifts or additional thoughtful touches in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Would probably have given 4.5 if possible. We thoroughly enjoyed it, especially sitting looking out at the view. Having a fridge freezer, instead of an ice box in a fridge was a huge bonus, however, the lack of cupboard space for other groceries, might be a problem for a younger couple with a child/children. The dining chairs were a bit tired, but serviceable. A clothes airer would have been appreciated. As a couple in their early 70s, we are quite happy to adjust to situations, as long as the place is clean, which this was. The humps and blind spots on the access road can still take the edge off a really pleasant holiday though.

Probably the best outlook from any accommodation we have had the good fortune to stay in. Spectacular views of the Solent and Needles and across to Bournemouth and Swanage. Peaceful. Any questions and difficulties were quickly and fully revolved.

The most disgustingly filthy place. Bed bugs, mouse droppings, dirty carpet, black cooking trays and cutlery, dirty cupboards and draws, webs and spiders everywhere, broken and dangerous electric heaters, electrical testing out of date, a filthy old broom in the bedroom, sticky surfaces, and a horrible smell, stained smelly bed clothes and pillows, broken headboard, dirty windows, smelt of dog urine. Took lots of photographs and left. My garden shed is much much cleaner than this. A total disgrace!
