We really enjoyed our stay at the Stables. The property was very spacious and had everything that we needed.Having the Alpacas in the field behind was great. It was a great base to explore the area. I would highly recommend The Flower Pots Inn at Cheriton for local beer and a nice meal. Does get busy though so best to book in advance. The Water Cress railway is great in Alresford, Winchester is also great but would highly recommend Portsmouth historic docks.I would certainly be happy to return to this property. Very relaxing stay.

Enjoyed a fabulous week away at The Stables. Very roomy and clean with plenty of utensils. A real home from home and lots of places to visit within a half hour drive in all directions. Great too to have the Alpacas so close.

The Stables was excellent value for our short family get together. Five adults, two couples and a single, we had a great time. The property was spotless, the beds were extremely comfortable, the bed linen and the towels were top notch. The general equipment was great and the kitchen was well equipped. There was decent space on the patio with dining table and chairs for eating out and comfortable outside sofas and arm chairs. Combined with beautiful country views the soaring red kites and the charming herd of Alpacas created a very relaxing space to enjoy a glass of wine! The one compromise was having to share one bathroom between two double bedrooms. I think this was reflected in the excellent value for money but for some it might be a deal breaker.
