"We had a lovely week at Drover's Way. The cottage is cosy and comfortable, in a great location. Ully and Tony are wonderful hosts, really helpful."

"Such a lovely part of the world , ourselves and our 2 dogs had a thoroughly good time. The hosts were nice and all the little extra touches in the accommodation were really appreciated- even treats for the dogs Would recommend staying here."

"Had a wonderful seven days in the New Forest. Drovers way is a great location to be based, the accommodation is well presented, and the owners Tony & Ulli could not have been nicer, we have already decided that we will be returning next year."

"we had a brilliant week away perfect location and accommodation fantastic 1st class!"

"We have just returned from yet another wonderful break at the chalet with Tony and Ulli. I can honestly say that they are our reason for returning time and again. Their hospitality is second to none, nothing is too much trouble and it’s just like staying with family 🙂. We enjoy our chats when we are sat out on the patio and Tony is beavering away getting all the jobs that come with owning such a wonderful property. A great location to just “switch off”, plenty of places to walk and cycling too. I’m not a great cyclist but the cycle to the pub every evening for my Diet Pepsi was a joy, I even enjoyed the obstacle course that the ponies and donkeys create!Looking forward to our next visit, thank you once again Tony and Ulli 😊"

"This was one of, if not the best week we have spent away. The accomodation and surroundings were fantastic! as was the weather, and our hosts Ulli and Tony are two of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet, really friendly and helpful.Ulli makes the most wonderful flapjack and jam! all part of a lovely welcoming gift.Coming from a town, it was just fabulous waking up to the country views all around us, we even had a family of pretty deer in the paddock one night, and again early one morning walking along the track, as well as numerous species of birds feeding off the hanging feed baskets, some, like the Nuthatch ive never seen before, they are the ones that feed upside down (thanks for that information Tony). Being members of the National Trust we visited somewhere different every day, so many historical castles and houses, and Christchurch beach is gorgeous! and we recommend eating in the Royal Oak Pub, fantastic meals and friendly staff. You also get a really nice Brunch (breakfast) at Hockeys farm, within walking distance. As usual the week went so fast, Soooo relaxing! cannot wait to visit again. Amanda & Paul. X"

"Very nice property with welcoming hosts. Only downside for us was the remoteness of the property (this will obviously be a bonus for others). Was warned beforehand that dogs had to be kept on a lead at all times due to livestock, however even a small garden area where the dog could roam without tether would have been an advantage. All in all a very nice break in a very nice part of the world."

"Great location in the New Forest and 30mins away from all major places. Great walks from studio itself.Unfortunately, the sudio isn't very private and owners did gardening, watering, compositing and tidying up around us whilst we tried to eat our dinner on the patio which was a bit disconcerting.......maybe that sort of stuff could be done whilst we were out all day? Don't get me wrong, we knew it was on their grounds but every night tiding up 5 feet away from us?? We're stayed in at least 30 cottages etc over 20 years and lots on owners grounds, but most owners respected our family private time together and spoke to us in the morning whilst leaving for the day and did all their 'odd jobs' whilst we were out all day.Plus side love the area and The Royal Oak pub is fantastic and all the staff are brilliant! Also, they got days wrong and thought we were leaving on Thursday and came out to speak to us when we went out at 11am saying don't worry about leaving late, they can still clean it from within time as they have family staying here. As you can imagine a bit of a scare thinking we are being turffed out a day early. Only when i mentioned we're booked until Friday morning did they realise their error. If you're after a private, detached property this isn't the place for you. If you like talking to owners daily whilst eating your dinner then this place is an ideal base. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable and my 6 year old didn't sleep very well due to this. Shower is slow which I'm used to living in a rural myself, but fluctuating from hot to cold every 10 seconds not right."

"Superb week, extremely friendly hosts, very welcoming and helpful, truly excellent location where you did not have to go looking for the wildlife, the wildlife came to you . The whole holiday was perfect for our needs, great walks on our doorstep, situated on the peaceful side of the forest compared with the busier Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst locations.Loved every minute of our stay and was, on reflection, excellent value for money."

"This has become our own little piece of heaven, each time we visit it is even more special. Tony and Ulli have become very important to us and we look forward to each and every visit. Only 7 weeks to the next holiday and we can’t wait 😊"

"Drovers way offers fantastic views of the new forest. It is a charming, well equiped cottage and the hosts have the perfect balance of being available if you need advice and letting you get on with your holiday in peace and quiet. I was worried that being an annex it would feel like we were intuding, but nothing could be further from the reality. We enjoyed a glorious 3 days in May and have already booked 7 days in July. I can't wait to go back to what I know feel like is my country home."

"Absolutely lovely, great hosts, there to help with whatever you need.Location perfect! Straight out cycling or walking from the doorstep."
    Gillian ‐ 27 May 2018
"A lovely place to stay. Peaceful and relaxing with amazing hosts"
    AUSTIN ‐ 17 Mar 2018
"Drovers is excellent accommodation and we thoroughly recommend it. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming. Our hosts (Ulli and Tony) were very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Because of its rural location there is peace and quiet and with the very comfortable king size bed you are assured of restful nights. We enjoyed watching the deer visiting the paddock and have been entertained by a variety of birds visiting the feeders which Tony ensures are topped up. The hospitality pack was the best we have ever had - Ulli's home-made jams and flapjacks were absolutely delicious. Once you have stayed at Drovers you will want to return."

"Lovely quiet location within yards of the open Forest. The chalet is comfortable and convenient although the access track is somewhat rough and rustic. Local pubs are excellent and nearby Ringwood is well supplied with restaurants and takeaways. If you want a rural retreat close to local wildlife or walking/cycling, then this is it."
