About these Apartments

Situated in a picturesque village on the edge of the New Forest, Avon Accommodation in Ringwood comprises of two attractive self catering apartments set with in a old thatched cottage. The property retains plenty of period features including low beams and door heights, narrow steep stairs and uneven floors. The apartments are ideal for both couples and families with guests enjoying a 10% discount on meals in the restaurant downstairs. A range of menus are available including a la carte, lunch time specials, vegetarian menu, fixed price menu and a children's menu. 

Avon Mist

Avon Mist is the larger of our two apartments which offers a large double bedroom with triple wardrobe, flat screen TV with DVD player seating area and hospitality tray. There is a further twin bedroom with a chest of drawers and two fold up beds in the lounge which are suitable for children. The lounge area also offers fitted wardrobes, an electric coal effect fire and a flat screen TV with Freeview service. The accommodation also includes a mini kitchen with fridge/ ice box, microwave, hob and toaster. There is a bathroom with a shower which is accessed from the master bedroom via part of the twin bedroom.

Avon View

Avon View is our smaller apartment with a double bedroom, ensuite bathroom with shower, lounge with sofa bed and compact kitchen. This apartment has a small kitchen with hob, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle.  The comfortable lounge has a bed settee with electric wood burner fire, TV and DVD player.  This apartment sleeps 2 in the double bedroom with the option of an additional 2 people on the sofa bed in the lounge.

Other Things to Note

Limited off road parking is available for the apartments with further free parking close by. A continental breakfast can be provided for your stay by arrangement. Please note that due to the characterful nature of the apartments, they would not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Utility charges are included and we also provide linen and towels along with a welcome pack. The kitchens are suitable for light cooking only.

We are situated on the edge of Ringwood a bustling market town sitting between two forests -   The New Forest and Ringwood Forest.  Both are great for walking, running, cycling and horse riding.  The local lake provides a safe haven for children to learn to sail or join in fun activities during the school holidays.  There are many pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops a short walk away.
