About this Holiday Cottage

Set in the breathtakingly beautiful New Forest National Park, Cosy Cottage is a spacious 4 star rated rural retreat located just a few minutes away from forest walks and Lyndhurst village with its selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. 

It is well presented and fully equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay in the New Forest. We’re ideal for couples, friends and families and you can even bring your beloved pet along whether it is one dog or more!

Inside

From the moment you set foot in Cosy Cottage, you'll feel like it's your own. We want you to enjoy a true home-from-home experience, so we've stocked it with everything from eco-friendly laundry products to a complimentary hospitality tray including hot drinks supplies, biscuits and fresh milk.

The lounge includes an electric log-burner effect fire for cosy winter evenings, and a TV and DVD player with a library of DVDs to choose from.

The cottage has a spacious kitchen with a number of appliances, such as a fridge/ freezer, a cooker and a dishwasher, and  laundry facilities. We've also included a dining table and a music system, with an iPod dock so you can listen to your favourite songs as you cook.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Every night at Cosy Cottage will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed. The beds are sumptuously soft, and you're in perfectly peaceful surroundings.

There are two large en-suite bedrooms (one with a shower, one with a bath & shower). Beds can be arranged as superking-size and king-size, two twin rooms, or a combination of the two. There's an additional cloakroom WC.

We want your whole family to experience the best of the New Forest, so we're happy to welcome families with children. We can provide a travel cot for very young guests, as well as a highchair. We ask for a small payment of £15 for each. For older kids, we're just fifteen minutes from the Paultons Family Theme Park.

Outside

We know your whole family, kids and dogs included, will love the courtyard garden, and we can provide a dog-sitting and baby-sitting service if you'd like some peace and quiet.

Special for pets

We also love your four-legged friends, and we'll be happy to let them stay with you. We ask for a fee of £15 per dog to cover extra cleaning costs, but we'll have dog biscuits waiting on arrival, and we'll include a dog towel, blanket and toys for Rover or Fido.

There is a parking strip for your vehicle, and free WiFi. 

Around and About

The open forest is less than a minute away, which is ideal for dog walking, cycling or hikes to suit all abilities.  Lyndhurst and the surrounding New Forest areas offer many activities for all ages. There are so many tourist attractions just a short drive away such as the Beaulieu Motor Museum, Paultons Park and Bucklers Hard.  Try your hand at horse riding in the New Forest or golf, fishing, cycling, and bird watching or simply soak up the beautiful views that this beautiful area has to offer.

One week - 7 nights from 1pm Friday to 10am following Friday. Midweek break - 4 nights from 1pm Monday to 10am Friday. Weekend break - 3 nights from 1pm Friday to 10am following Monday.

Directions

Leave M27 at Cadnam (junction 1), take A337 to Lyndhurst. After the 30mph sign, take 1st left-Racecourse View (red telephone box on corner) and just around the bend is The Custards. Cosy Cottage is on the left-hand side (opposite Clarence Road.)
