Catch the train to Brockenhurst, where ponies and donkeys can be seen ambling along the roads, and explore the New Forest further by hiring bicycles. Or take the ferry to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight for an exciting day trip on this beautiful island. Lymington is an excellent base for a holiday and from which to explore the coast and the Forest.
