A walk through the village takes you past many thatched brick and timber cottages alongside the bourne (stream). The Rose and Thistle pub is at the other end, a stroll back could include a visit to the 11th/12th century church of Saint Andrew with its flint structure and tiled roof. The famous Rockbourne Roman Villa is a short walk away from the lodges.

This detached, 19th century building can be found in Rockbourne, Hampshire. It is the perfect location for exploring the unspoilt countryside of Cranborne Chase and the cathedral cities of Salisbury and the South Dorset coast, all within driving distance. Everything was beautifully laid out and seemingly everything we could have wanted was just there ready. Will definitely return in the future.

The scones and jam were a nice surprise when we arrived. A very quiet relaxing location but within a short distance to many interesting places to visit.
