It is centrally placed in the charming village of Sway, which has village shop almost opposite, chemist, family butchers, medical centre, newsagent/post office and a selection of eateries and pubs. The First Floor Apartment (ref UKC981) offers very light and roomy accommodation, the vaulted beamed ceiling has Velux windows, and the living/dining/kitchen area is all open plan. The Ground Floor Apartment (ref UKC982) has an open plan living/dining area and kitchen. They are ideal for two families who wish to stay together but with their own space.
Sway is located within The New Forest National Park, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and has an array of walking/cycling routes and expanse of heather moorland where free roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys can be seen wandering openly around the roads, and is perhaps what the New Forest is best known for. There is so much do in the area with many picturesque villages with tea rooms and inns serving fine ales. Days out can be enjoyed at Beaulieu Motor Museum, Beaulieu Abbey, New Forest Visitor Centre in Lyndhurst, Exbury Gardens and the riverside village of Bucklers Hard. Further afield, but well worth a trip is Monkey World and the Tank Museum near Wool. Take a day trip to the Isle of Wight, try crabbing at Milford-on-Sea, or a fishing trip from Lymington. Southampton with its nautical maritime history and shopping outlets is also within easy reach. The coastline with its beaches at Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Poole is within a short drive, and they have many popular activities such as windsurfing, boating and swimming. Beach 3 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
