Situated on a private track and tucked away under the canopy of the woodland setting, this former wartime hut was once home to “Churchills Secret Army”, the Special Operations Executive. Now this picture perfect holiday cottage has been completely remodelled, and even features an outdoor copper bath and rustic kitchen for al fresco meals.

Set on one level, The Coding Hut has been beautifully designed, with vintage pieces sitting comfortably alongside modern home comforts. The cosy lounge has squishy sofas to sink into in front of the roaring log burner after a busy day exploring, with a home cinema and sound system for family movie nights. A sociable open plan kitchen with dining table and comfortable seating overlooks the gardens. Three comfortable bedrooms allow for total relaxation in this rural hideaway.

The town of Lymington is within a short drive, with many independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs to sample during your stay. The ancient Saturday Charter market lines the High Street each week and is well worth a rummage! Or take the ferry across to The Isle of Wight, just a 40 minute crossing over The Solent to Yarmouth. The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu and Buckler’s Hard ancient shipbuilding village, which stretches down to the Beaulieu River, are within easy reach for family days out. The New Forest National Park, with miles of cycle tracks and footpaths, is on your doorstep, with free-roaming ponies, cattle, pigs and sheep. The secluded shingle beach, where the New Forest ponies amble freely, is a 7 minute walk, and is dog-friendly.
