Groomes Country House in Bordon, Hampshire, receives high praise for its spaciousness, historic charm, and well-maintained condition. The property is well-suited for large groups and family gatherings, offering a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is consistently described as spotlessly clean, with several reviews highlighting its superb maintenance. One minor suggestion was made for designated recycling bins to manage waste more effectively.

While the reviews mention stunning views and a peaceful setting, there is insufficient detail to accurately assess the location in relation to local attractions or convenience, hence the score is set to null.

Guests find the property very comfortable, with special mentions of the quality towels and well-equipped rooms. The variety of spaces caters to all ages, ensuring a relaxing stay for everyone.

The facilities are generally praised, including the kitchen equipment, BBQ, and games room. However, there were minor issues with kitchen appliances and a mention of a fire alarm being disconnected, which slightly lowers the score.

While the hosts are commended for their welcoming and accommodating nature, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category, thus the score is set to null.

Pete and Jane were very welcoming and were on hand for any problems if needed. Highly recommend it, we had a fabulous stay and will definitely go back. A perfect birthday weekend, thank you.

Perfect for my 70th birthday family celebration. So spacious and so much room for 10 adults. Games room was well used and hot tub was also used, despite the outside temperature being only 3°. Lady recommended by Pete cooked a delicious 3-course meal on Saturday evening. A great Time and wonderful memories.

Whole family enjoyed the house and available space with a very hospitable welcome from our host. Games room and hot tub enjoyed by all. The snug could have done with a little more lighting for reading purposes but was very comfortable. Dining room was excellent and plenty of seating for all. I would recommend this to all and indeed have given full, details to a friend.
