Farnham itself boasts a mix of independent and national retailers, a plethora of restaurants, and six supermarkets for convenient holiday provisions. Venture further to the picturesque and historically rich town of Petersfield (15 miles), with its weekly markets, Festival Hall, and a variety of dining options. Families can embark on a short journey down the A31 to discover Marwell Zoo or head North West to the dry ski slope in Aldershot (10 miles) for a fun filled day out, located around 30 miles to the west. Close to home, a charming local pub beckons just 0.5 miles away. Step into the lodge to find an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is flooded with light from the dual aspect windows. The well appointed kitchen is a welcoming space in which to rustle up family meals to be enjoyed at the dining table with seating for six. This doubles as a base for family board games in the evening, or relocate to the sofas to watch a film on the Smart TV. When night falls, retire to the bedrooms an en suite double, a king size and a twin with zip and link beds which can be arranged as a king size when requested in advance. A rustic outdoor dining table and benches provide seating for up to 10; sit and look out over the lawned area where sheep can often be found grazing.
