The cottage itself was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, providing everything needed for a pleasant stay. It is conveniently located near local amenities, pubs and restaurants, and making it a great base for exploring the area. However, there were a couple of drawbacks which can be fixed. Arriving at night proved challenging due to the lack of lighting, making it difficult to find my way, Given the distance one must walk from the parking area, especially if this is your first time and you don’t know what to expect. Even with a handheld lighter, visibility was extremely poor, leaving me stranded in my car until 4 am when it finally started to get lighter and could find my way. Additionally, the grass leading up to the cottage's entrance had grown quite long, it became inconvenient to walk specially, after raining. Last thing, the presence of various tools and miscellaneous items scattered around the premises ( car park). This gave the impression of a cluttered dumping ground, which was a slight disappointment considering the otherwise well-maintained cottage.
