Located just a 5 minute walk from the unspoilt shingle beach at Pett Level which is known for its rock pools fossils and the mysterious 6 000 year old sunken forest which can be seen sometimes when the tide is out making this property ideal for families looking for an old fashioned seaside break near to stunning countryside and dog-friendly beaches. Keen walkers and cyclists can explore the Fairlight Country Park or Rye Harbour Nature Reserve which are both within easy reach. The property is midway between the pretty medieval town of Rye famous for its cobbled streets and smuggling stories or take a trip to nearby Hastings Old Town where there is a wealth of shops cafes and restaurants coupled with seaside attractions to keep the family entertained. Step inside this wonderful light and airy cottage into the hallway where there is space for dropping off shoes and coats and then through into the lounge where a warm welcome awaits you. Curl up on either the comfy sofa or armchairs in front of the electric wood burner make yourself feel at home and enjoy a film on the TV/DVD with Sky. Walk through to the open-plan kitchen/diner which is a fantastic place for family entertaining. Enjoy preparing meals listening to the radio in the well-equipped kitchen which offers a electric oven and gas hob combi microwave oven coffee machine larder fridge wine cooler and a dishwasher before dining at the large dining table with seating for everyone. After dinner enjoy a glass of wine and chat on one of the two sofas that are also in the kitchen/ diner whilst the teenagers can head off into the snug with a Smart TV where they can either watch TV or play board games. The snug offers a sofa bed (for one additional guest upon request) and a stylish armchair. There is also a utility room with a freezer washing machine tumble drier and a separate downstairs WC. There is a further lawned area where children will enjoy playing and private parking for three cars.
