Yew Tree Farm is consistently praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and welcoming touches. The thoughtful gestures, such as welcome hampers and decorations, contribute to the property's charm, making it ideal for family gatherings and celebrations.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is frequently described as spotless, indicating a high level of cleanliness that guests are very satisfied with.

The location is well-regarded due to the nearby pub, play area, and the farm, making it a great spot for visitors, though one review mentioned a concern for dog owners due to a local cat.

Guests find the property warm and comfortable, with plenty of space for large groups and family games, comfortable beds, and a hot tub that adds to the comfort level.

The facilities are generally praised, including the well-equipped kitchen and the extra towels for the hot tub. However, one mention of a damp smell in the master bedroom suggests a minor issue with maintenance.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtful touches, such as welcome hampers and Easter eggs. While these gifts are warmly received, it should be noted that such gestures are at the hosts' discretion and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The village is famous for its large Windmill, the timbers of which date back to 1685; the mill is now a Grade II listed building and can be visited once a week from March to September. J. R. R. Tolkein liked the name of the town so much that he based the fictional village of Bree on it for The Lord of the Rings trilogy. There is a store and a bar called The Pointer for a fun night out.
