Snaptrip says

Foxglove Cottage in Glastonbury offers a tranquil and picturesque setting with consistently high praise for its cleanliness, comfort, and welcoming hosts. Guests enjoy the peaceful surroundings, the presence of wildlife, and the property's proximity to local attractions. The accommodation is well-equipped and the added touches, such as a bottle of local cider, contribute to a delightful stay.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests frequently commend the exceptional cleanliness of the chalets, noting them as spotless and well-maintained, which reflects a high standard of hygiene and care.

The property's location is celebrated for its beautiful and peaceful setting, with easy access to local towns and attractions, contributing to a serene and convenient holiday experience.

Reviews highlight the chalets as warm, comfortable, and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere, although one mention of a hard bed suggests comfort may be subjective.

Facilities are generally praised, including a well-equipped chalet and a lovely fishing pond. However, a few minor maintenance issues such as sensitive smoke alarms and heating problems slightly lower the score.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is appreciated, with mentions of a welcoming bottle of cider and friendly interactions. While such gestures enhance the experience, it's noted that these are personal touches and may vary.

The weather was kind to us in October so it was a treat to sit out in the veranda to admire the views and our dog enjoying the open space. Jo and Brett are great hosts. Thank you .

The owners are friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. The lodge was warm and cozy with everything you could possibly need during your stay and there surroundings were calm and quite beautiful. It was perfectly placed for a peaceful, rural retreat but was close enough to plenty of interesting places to visit with loads of attractions and historical sites nearby. Overall a place we would go back to again and take Charley Dog to add well.

The chalet was warm and comfortable, with everything we needed, and the owner was very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be back!
